Where to play Cleopatra online for real money: states, versions and dates

You can play IGT’s Cleopatra for real money online in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia, the four states where operator pages list it as of October 2026. Caesars Palace Online’s Cleopatra page offers all four in its state picker, and BetMGM’s guide to the game refers to the same four. Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island also have legal online casinos with IGT games, but we found nothing that confirms Cleopatra in any of them.

Which Cleopatra games are online, and where?

Several games share the name, and a lobby search for “Cleopatra” can return more than one. This is what the evidence supports:

The standard game has no launch date we could verify. The oldest dated Cleopatra online is MegaJackpots Cleopatra, which went live in New Jersey in September 2018 with a $500,000 jackpot seeded by IGT, at Caesars, Hard Rock, Mohegan Sun and Resorts. CAESARS CLEOPATRA came five years later: IGT announced it on August 22, 2023 as the launch title of Caesars Palace Online Casino, whose app runs in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia.

How to find the right Cleopatra in a lobby

Search the casino’s lobby while you are inside the state, since one brand’s game list can differ from state to state (Caesars lists a separate Michigan edition of MegaJackpots Cleopatra, for example). Then open the game’s rules or help screen and match the title and RTP:

• Cleopatra: 95.02% in IGT’s rules file. BetMGM notes that the figure can differ from one jurisdiction to another.
• MegaJackpots Cleopatra: 92.48%, lower because part of each bet feeds the jackpot.
• Cleopatra Gold: 95.97%.

Some states also apply an award cap to a single spin and its bonus; where one applies, the paytable shows it. Lobbies change, and a game listed at launch can leave, so the screen in front of you is the final word. States where Cleopatra is not confirmed

• Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island: IGT’s online division lists all three among its US markets, but that shows IGT supplies the state, not which titles each casino carries. Connecticut has two tribal operators with one online casino each, Delaware’s three casino sites are run through the State Lottery, and Rhode Island has a single platform run for its Lottery. None of them is confirmed for Cleopatra.
• Maine: tribal online casinos became legal in January 2026, but as of October 2026 the rules were still being drafted and no site was live.
• Every other state: no other state licenses online slots, so a site that takes real-money bets on Cleopatra from players elsewhere is not licensed there.

A cabinet on a casino floor is no proof of an online copy either. IGT still sells floor versions such as Cleopatra Legacy on its DiamondRS mechanical-reel cabinet, and the online game is a separate video build.

The entry rules, briefly

The same rules apply in all four states: 21 or older, physically inside the state while you play, and a geolocation check that confirms it. Residence is not required, so a visitor can play while in the state, and a resident cannot play once they cross the border.
