Where to play Lightning Link online: the July 2026 launch, state by state

Lightning Link has been playable online for real money since July 23, 2026, when Aristocrat launched Lightning Link High Stakes across regulated US states. Casino-level evidence covers five of them: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia and Connecticut. Delaware and Rhode Island rest only on Aristocrat’s statement that the launch reached every regulated state, so treat them as unconfirmed until you see the game in a lobby there.

Which Lightning Link games are online?

Lightning Link has been on casino floors since at least 2015, but online it is new and small. Two themes had launched by October 2026:

High Stakes went first: Hard Rock Bet describes it as one of the four original floor themes. Aristocrat’s Tiki Fire release reported that High Stakes debuted at No. 3 in the “NEW” categories of the US Eilers-Fantini report for August 2026. Tiki Fire followed in early September 2026; BetMGM lists it with 50 lines and progressive Grand and Major jackpots.

High Stakes, casino by casino

These are the listings we found for the first online theme:

• DraftKings: Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
• FanDuel: live at launch, per Gambling.com’s launch report, which did not list FanDuel’s states.
• BetMGM: Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, per a G3 Newswire report on BetMGM’s later Alberta launch.
• Hard Rock Bet: New Jersey and Michigan, live on launch day, July 23, 2026.
• Caesars Palace Online: a High Stakes game page, with New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia in its state picker.

Connecticut’s evidence comes from DraftKings alone. These are listings from the launch period, and lobbies change, so a casino that carried the game in July may have moved it since.

Dragon Link, and checking the version you open

Dragon Link is not online for real money as of October 2026. On September 18, 2026 Aristocrat said it would show Dragon Link to online operators at G2E ahead of the full launch. For now it exists online only in Product Madness’s free Lightning Link Casino app, which has no real-money play.

Aristocrat describes shared progressive jackpots for the online version, including a Grand, but it has not published an online RTP. BetMGM lists 95.00% for High Stakes and notes that the figure can differ by jurisdiction, so open the rules screen before you play and check both the theme name and the RTP shown there.

The rules in every legal state

Wherever Lightning Link is live, the law sets the same bar: 21 or older, inside the state for as long as you play, and verified by geolocation. Residence is not required. Outside the seven states with legal online casinos, a site offering real-money Lightning Link is not licensed where you are. Maine legalized tribal online casinos in January 2026, but as of October 2026 its rules were still being written and no site was live.

Helplines, limit tools and each state’s self-exclusion program are on our responsible gambling page.
