How Huff N' More Puff plays online, and what Huff N' Even More Puff adds

Huff N’ More Puff, the first Huff N’ Puff game to go online in the US, is a five-reel slot with 243 ways to win, and two symbols do most of the work: Hard Hats lead to free spins, and Buzz Saws spin a wheel of jackpots and features. Hard Rock Bet lists bets from $0.20 to $100, and FanDuel said at launch that the online game matches the floor version apart from one addition, the option to buy the bonus. Its sequel, Huff N’ Even More Puff, keeps that base and adds SUPER features on bigger reels.

Reels, ways and the base game

Light & Wonder lists Huff N’ More Puff with five reels and 243 ways. There are no paylines to choose: every spin checks all 243 symbol paths, and a win generally needs matching symbols on neighboring reels from the left. The paytable on the game screen confirms what each symbol pays.

Line wins are only part of the picture. The studio frames the base game around landing Hard Hats and Buzz Saws, because those two symbols lead to the features where the Wolf, the multipliers and the jackpots live.

The two symbols that matter

The Buzz Saw, Mega Hat and Mansion features all give the free spins a head start by upgrading frames before the Wolf arrives. Our page on the Huff N’ Puff bonus features walks through each one step by step.

Bet range, top prize and the bonus buy

Hard Rock Bet lists Huff N’ More Puff at $0.20 to $100 a spin in New Jersey, and the DraftKings launch report gives the same range for the sequel. Other casinos may set narrower limits, so the bet selector on your screen is the final word.

The top win is listed at more than 5,000 times the stake. Light & Wonder and Hard Rock Bet give slightly different figures, so the paytable at your casino is the one to trust.

The bonus buy is the one online-only addition FanDuel named at launch. It lets you pay to go straight to a bonus instead of waiting for Hard Hats or Buzz Saws to land. Whether it appears depends on the casino and the version, and the price is set on the game screen, so read it before you press the button. A bought bonus puts its whole price on one round, so spending can climb fast; the RTP and volatility page says what is and is not published about its return.

What Huff N’ Even More Puff adds

Huff N’ Even More Puff, online at DraftKings from August 28, 2025, keeps the same five reels, three rows and 243 ways in its base game, with the same Hard Hats, Buzz Saws and wheel. Light & Wonder’s page for the game describes the additions:

• SUPER features. SUPER Mega Hat, SUPER Buzz Saw and SUPER Mansions play on expanded 6x5 reels, where frames convert and houses build faster.
• The SUPER Wheel. A wheel spin can upgrade to a SUPER Wheel on which every feature is supersized.
• The SUPER Jackpot. The upgraded wheel can award a SUPER Jackpot of 7,500 times the bet.
• Buy Pass. An option to pay extra to skip the base game and go straight to the bonus games.

The studio’s page is written for its European and UK release, so a US casino’s version may not offer every option, the Buy Pass in particular. Check the game screen.

Floor habits that do not carry over

If you know Huff N’ Puff from a casino floor, the symbols and the Wolf will look familiar, but the stake steps, the bonus buy and the payback setting are specific to the online version. Our guide to what changes when a slot moves online covers the general differences, and the Huff N’ Puff overview lists which games are online in which states.
